Host an Event

Higher Ed Not Debt encourages members to host forums and Teach-ins to educate your members & the public on the issue of Student Debt. Options include: Hosting a forum with a current student struggling with debt, a local community leader or an academic to talk about the way debt is crushing our country.

Your teach-in will be part of a huge action around the country, organized by people like you—passionate folks who care about education and want to make a difference in their communities. By organizing a teach-in, you’re part of a long legacy that goes back to the civil rights movement. At your teach-in, you’ll get together to discuss the crisis in your community, learn more about the student debt crisis and why it exists, and meet others who want to do something about it. LET’S GET STARTED!
