Senators Announce Student Debt Legislation
There are 43 million of us with student loans, and the student debt crisis deserves more than just a passing mention. That’s why senators are banding together to launch legislation under the #InTheRed initiative, letting you know you’ve not been forgotten.
College costs continue to rise, our current student debt is unmanageable, and many politicians have yet to take meaningful action to reform higher education financing. All legislators need to have a plan for the student debt crisis—not just the ones invested in #InTheRed—and we need to make them hear our stories.
Send an email to your legislators in just a few clicks asking them to come forward with a plan that not only helps future students who are #InTheRed, but those of us who already have student debt as well.
